Here’s what happened…

The center for the Boston Celtics, Enes Kanter, recently made a controversial move and targeted shoe giant Nike over their use of slave labor.

According to the Washington Examiner, Kanter sparked major controversy when he decided to mock Nike and wore shoes that had phrases such as “hypocrite Nike,” “modern day slavery,” “no more excuses,” and “made with slave labor” during his game against the Charlotte Hornets.

He also called out Nike owner Phil Knight and NBA legends such as Lebron James and Michael Jordan who work with Nike as well.

Kanter dared Nike’s owner to book a flight to China with him so he can personally see the slave labor first hand. He told Lebron James and Michael Jordan they are more than welcome to join him as well.
