Will McConnell stick to his promise this time?

After receiving major blowback from Conservatives, Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell wrote a letter to President Biden and informed him that he and the Senate Republicans will NOT help the Democrats raise the debt ceiling again.

McConnell recently allowed to Democrats raise the debt ceiling until December but promised Biden that he would not do it again especially after Senator. Chuck Schumer’s “hysterics” following the vote to raise it.

According to Newsmax, McConnell wrote to Biden, “I am writing to make it clear that in light of Senator Schumer’s hysterics and my grave concerns about the ways that another vast, reckless, partisan spending bill would hurt Americans and help China, I will not be a party to any future effort to mitigate the consequences of Democratic mismanagement.”

This isn’t the first time McConnell has angered conservatives by caving to the Democrats and many believe it likely won’t be his last time either.
