WHOA!

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., slammed Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., after Schumer mocked Republicans and celebrated successfully raising the national debt ceiling until early December.

According to Newsmax, Schumer mocked Republicans by accusing them of playing a “dangerous game” by not helping raise the debt ceiling and risking the future of the United States.

As Schumer was standing on the Senate floor and lecturing the Republicans, Manchin who was visibly frustrated with Schumer’s words at one point even covered his face.

Then as he was leaving the Capitol, Manchin tore into Schumer and according to CNN’s Maju Raju, “Manchin tells us he didn’t like Schumer’s speech after the vote to break a filibuster on the debt ceiling. ‘I didn’t think it was appropriate at this time,’ he said, arguing that ‘we need to de-weaponize’ and stop ‘playing politics … That was not a way to take (frustration) out.'”
