Rapper and Hollywood movie star Ice Cube has just been dropped for a role in an upcoming movie with actor Jack Black after he refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to Washington Examiner, Ice Cube was supposed to star in Sony’s Oh Hell No movie which would have paid him $9 million for his role. Now, Sony is looking for a replacement for Ice Cube.
The movie was expected to be filmed this winter in Hawaii, however production has been delayed over Ice Cube’s decision.
Ice Cube has been a strong supporter of mask-wearing since the pandemic started, however it appears that he does not want to be vaccinated.
Ice Cube joins a small list of celebrities who are refusing to take the vaccine including NBA star Kyrie Irving, who has been suspended from the NBA for refusing as well.
